after eating a brownie, yes the magical ones, i stumbled across this. geeks actually made a real life warthog from HALO fame. my friends and i used to play this 24 hours a day, sometimes not even showering. we had a 4 man team on each tv, san jose vs san mateo. we would win of course...sorry ben! anyway, check these photos out.

so i've been getting some heat from marc to update my blog, so here it is... the weather is beautiful in the city and i'm stuck at work!!! sucks. there is nothing more painful than watching a bunch of tourists having the time of their lives while being stuck in this sorry excuse of a verizon store. so lately i've been stuck on this damn show that you might have heard of...CSI. my two days off this week consisted of seasons 3 and 4 back to back. i don't think i even got off the couch. what i love about the show is the cheesy ass one liners that grissom says to begin the episode. if you haven't seen it, they are priceless. i included one in the video for you guys to enjoy!!

after spending some time with my cousins, i figured out something pretty funny. in our sentences we were using new verbs! with the ever expanding internet, our generation suddenly uses verbs like "google it" or "i myspaced her". i just thought it was funny that all of my aunties had no clue what we were talking about. wouldn't you think that with our access to knowledge these days we would speak more eloquently rather than make up new words? i blame the invention of social networking...

so last night i was watching Elektra (don't ask how that happened), and i saw a familiar face enter as Typhoid Mary. i stared for a little bit and wow was she gorgeous. i cut straight to the end credits and found out it was Natassia Malthe. i don't know if you guys remember her, but she was always in Maxim's top 100 from 2003-2005. what's even more appealing is she is half filipina. so i did my imdb.com search on her and found out that she is going to be the lead role in a movie about the Philippines called Manslaughter.

so for halloween a bunch of friends went to suite 181. afraid of not being able to get in, we arrived at 8:45. good thing we did, cause the line was almost 2 blocks long when we finally got the lines moving. i was dressed as a nerd first, then a bunch of girls mistook me for steve urkel once i lost the wig. it worked out pretty well tho, cause girls were jockin urkel. the party was packed and was a success.

do you remember the first time watching this bad-ass walk into the room with his entourage? i do. in fact, i was so obsessed with this movie The Last Dragon (1985) that my cousins and i would run around the house round house kicking each other, using weapons we made of broom sticks, and eventually ended with me putting "the shine" on my oldest cousin. well, Sho'Nuff is back as a remake of Berry Gordy's film is in the works. can you guess who's gonna play this crazy lunatic? not busta rhymes, not terry crews ( although that wouldn't be a bad casting) and not ludacris... let's just say, "Snakes on a muthafuckin plane!"

NAPA COUNTY (CBS13) ― A local congressional contest took a racy turn when an "enthusiastic" staffer recorded a robo-call that attracted an unusual amount of attention.

The robo-call went out on behalf of Republican challenger Zane Starkewolf starting Sunday, but was pulled by Monday. A female voice begins the message by saying "Mike Thompson has been a bad boy," in risqué tones.

Mike Thompson, Starkewolf's opponent, is the incumbent Democrat Congressmen representing the District 1 seat, which comprises the Sonoma, Napa and Yolo County regions.

"It wasn't really the message I wanted to state and the risqué-type voice was not exactly the tone I wanted to set," Starkewolf said, but added, "you know, I make no apologies for it."

Starkewolf says the phone ad was made to help voters see Thompson's record, not upset them.

"We all said no to the bail out," the voice message continues, "but Thompson backed Bush, just like he did with the Patriot Act."

"Uhh, vote Yes! for Zane," the message concludes.

Starkewolf said the message was originally intended to be a little provactive, but said "it got a little more enthusiasm from the staff person who is reading the script."

"The fact is that's a good thing, because we need enthusiasm back in politics and we need to get everyone shouting for attention," he said.

Starkewolf refused to release the name of the staffer who recorded the message, saying he takes full responsibility for it.

Thompson's office released a statement on the robocall on Monday, calling it a "sophomoric and tasteless prank. As our nation deals with a financial crisis and two ongoing wars, it's incredible that someone would waste voters' time with this drivel."

i really can't sleep right now. anyway, for those of you with a dreaded Blackberry (which is the mobile equivalent of crack) know that the BB Messenger service is highly addictive. for some, they post their status as a way of reaching out, trying to get some other lonely soul to chat with them. i've also witnessed (and been a part) of 6 people in a room, each with blackberrys, forgetting that they were born with mouths, message each other instead of talking. hilarious. other people use their status as a mini-blog. and others compare how many contacts they have as a social ranking if you will. thank you blackberry for providing us with this wonderful service.

...it was funny, last night i could not sleep at all. as i lay in bed, my mind keeps f*cking with me. i dunno if i was half asleep but i played out all of the different jobs scenarios i applied for. and in every single one, i didn't get the job. i know they say hope for the best and think positive...(place cliche here) but how can you if your subconsciously planning to fail. i used to read all of those self help books and personal power stuff, but for some reason my brain would not accept it. i think i have been programed to fail. i blame it on my mother, who, for some reason does not know how to give a compliment. or maybe my father who introduced me to mary jane. but i digress. so here i am unemployed, bored as hell, deciding to start a blog. i need someplace to feel like i'm actually doing work. i also need a place to keep this randomness out of my brain. i was watching My Blueberry Nights last night and norah jones said, "some things just sound better written down." thank you norah jones for being the catalyst to this blog. if you haven't watched that movie, you should. it's a slow building movie but surprisingly by the end you are at the edge of your seat. no just kidding, it's because natalie portman's character is a sexy, low shirt wearing, poker player who likes to show cleavage. but overall an entertaining movie.
